  Mr. Browne has held executive positions in both academia (MIT, Media Lab) and industry (IBM, Thinking Machines and Instant Technologies) for more than 25 years. An inveterate entrepreneur, Mr. Browne has also participated in a large number of Information Technology industry start-ups.

• The Honorable Dr. Allison Druin - Director
  Dr. Druin is a Commissioner for the U.S. National Commission on Libraries and Information Science, where she helps to advise the U.S. President and Congress on issues concerning library access and use. Dr. Druin is also an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland and Director of the Human-Computer Interaction lab where she partners with children to design new technologies.

• Dr. Benjamin B. Bederson - Director
  Dr. Bederson is Associate Professor of Computer Science and past director of the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Bederson has also participated in several start-ups within the IT industry.

• Dr. Ann Carlson Weeks - Director
  Dr. Weeks is Professor of Practice in the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland. Formerly, Professor Weeks served as Director of Libraries and Information Services for the Chicago Public Schools and as Executive Director of the three youth divisions at the American Library Association (ALA).
